This is a colour theory based project. I designed a space after doing research on how certain colours invoked certain emotions. Studying spaces I found that the colour navy had made an impact on me. 
I associated navy with academia; The school I attended had a history of navy skirts that shifted from summer to winter. 

I designed a primary school entryway based off this exploration because I think it is significant how humans view their early academic years. I have found in surveys and other research that it impacts how we learn hobbies, languages, or something new, throughout the rest of our lives. 

I also added arches in this design as my school and the places I studied were arched. These crucial design elements I had associated with early education.
